About Me

Hi 🙂 My name is Verity Kent and I’m happy you’re taking the time to read my blog.

I had taken a break from painting for a number of years, but ultimately I’ve realized that I am more fulfilled when painting is an integral part of my life. This blog will document the experiments I make towards that end.

I was born and raised in Reno Nevada, “The Biggest Little City in the World.”

I’ve always had a fascination with the strange. I grew up watching B-horror flicks, catching insects and reading Stephen King. My subject matter and style often delves in the macabre. I’m currently living and working (I’m a web designer by day) in Portland, Oregon.

You can follow me on Twitter if you want, or check out my Etsy shop.
